About Aspire Family Medical

At Aspire Family Medical in Liberty Hill, TX, we believe wellness is a comprehensive, dynamic state in which to continue making improvements information must be received to increase knowledge and skills. Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible, personalized healthcare, and ensure our patients are well-informed and educated about their wellness options.

We are a Direct Primary Care (aka DPC) clinic also allowing for care under a traditional insurance plan. Direct Primary Care is a membership-based model of healthcare where patients pay a monthly membership fee to gain access to primary care services from our providers. DPC clinics are a fast-growing model of care aimed at providing high-quality, personalized care that is accessible, affordable, and personalized. We call our Direct Primary Care without insurance our Aspire Care Plan.

Regardless of insurance coverage, every patient becomes a member of Aspire Family Medical with several advantages over regular primary care visits. For our Aspire Care Plan, the monthly cost encompasses all appointments, with the exception of additional needed testing, medications, and specialty services. We aim to keep our overhead costs low which, in turn, keeps costs more affordable for patients. A set of annual labs is included with your yearly membership, and additional labs and imaging are significantly cheaper than what you would pay through insurance, resulting in more cost savings to you. Your membership at Aspire is a way to save money while getting more personalized, accessible, and thorough health care.

Kerstin Gillespie, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Kerstin will soon celebrate 40 years in healthcare. She was originally drawn to healthcare because she wanted to learn how to help others optimize their health. This later translated into her life-long career and then became the focus of her doctorate degree, as a Nurse Practitioner.

Education:

Pacific Lutheran University- Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner

University of Texas at Arlington- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude

Austin Community College- Associates of Applied Science in Nursing

Kerstin and her husband, Dr. Thad Gillespie, have lived in the Liberty Hill area for more than 25 years and raised their, now grown, children within the Liberty Hill schools and community. Thad is the co-owner and founder of Liberty Hill Dental, Liberty Hill Learning and Event Center, and Dental Genius Assisting School. Kerstin values developing relationships with her patients, so that she understands their priorities and lifestyle. Her goal is to help her patients improve their wellness and health literacy, so that they are making informed decisions about their care. She loves getting to know her patients and aspires to treat them just like her family. Ever the lifelong learner, Kerstin is continuously taking classes to further her knowledge, whether it be continuing healthcare education, new certifications, music, or other creative classes. She is certified in weight loss management through the Obesity Medicine Association. Outside of work, she enjoys playing with her dogs, raising chickens, gardening, crafting, camping, playing her steel drum, spending time with her husband and family, and traveling.

Mary Keith, CMA

Mary was first drawn to healthcare as a senior at Leander High School. During high school she became a Fire Explorer with Cedar Park Fire Department initially as a bet that she couldn't handle it. She exceled, became Lieutenant Fire Explorer, and enjoyed learning and assisting with training her crew. While learning emergency care with her fire department training her life-long goal to provide healthcare was further intensified. She married her high school sweetheart and started a family. She put her dream career on hold while raising her children and was finally able to go back to school in 2010. She graduated from Virginia College as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomy Technician.

After graduation, she worked in Urgent Care and Obstetrics and Gynecology before finding her home in Family Medicine. She loves Family Medicine because she enjoys building long-term relationships with the families in her care. After working in healthcare for 14 years, she has learned that there is more to taking care of people than just a diagnosis. For Mary, patient teaching is at the core of her care, because she believes it is very important patients understand their medical condition and care plan. She believes every patient needs the same compassionate care that we would give our families.

In her free time, she loves to garden, read, explore new adventures, travel with her 3 daughters, play with her fur babies, and babysit for her grand dogs.
